Do you freeze your milk? I buy organic and have been wanting to stock up when there is a great deal....and I have been reading about people freezing milk??? What do you think?

Frugal Friend,

I currently buy milk at Costco and freeze it. As long as you let it completely defrost and then shake it . . . it tastes the same. Different parts of it unfrost at different rates. So if you start drinking it while it's frozen then the stuff that is left is watery.

It works great for us.

Thanks Gabrielle! I have not tried freezing milk yet. Fred Meyer has milk for $1.00 per 1/2 gallon this week, so I may just stock up and freeze it.
