Walgreen's Trip

I headed over to Walgreen's tonight to work out the $5.00 off if you spend $20.00. I was in desperate need of diapers, so this came at a great time.

I got 2 Huggies Diapers - $9.99 each

1 Huggies Wipes Refill - $5.99

1 Gallon Skim Milk - $2.99

1 Gallon Whole Milk - $3.19

1 Nestle Chocolate Milk (not pictured - my son is enjoying it) - $1.69

Total before coupons: $35.57

Coupons I used:

2 $1.50 off 1 Huggies - $3.00

$5 off $20.00 coupon - $5.00

1 $10.00 Register Reward from the SoftSoap deal

Total OOP: $17.57

I will be submitting to Caregiver's Marketplace for a $2.00 rebate on the diapers. (Thanks Common Sense with Money!)

I also received a $5.00 Register Reward to use on my next purchase.

I do not include diapers/wipes/baby products in my grocery budget, therefore, this purchase is not going against my $100.00 monthly mission total for October.

Side note: The printer that printed my register reward also printed an advertisement for register rewards offerred on Colgate products from 9/26-10/25/08:

Buy 3 get $5.00, buy 5 get $10.00. With all the Colgate coupons going around (I have a ton of them!) there is probably a way to get some free toothpaste.
